As the more astute of you may have noticed, its been some time since any significant updates occured here.

In light of the fact that (to our surprise) people have continued viewing the comics, I thought I'd best update this journal with an explanation.

From a high of about 8 people, the contributions here fell to about 2 of us, then none, mainly as a result of real life (and the simply hilarious procedure of trying to find paid work after graduation) getting in the way of us all drawing.  Tom, who founded the group, has seen some damned stressful life changes, and he has recently upped and relocated to Wales from his former home, and as one of the group co-founders I myself have moved twice and got married, and am now working multiple jobs meaning time became tight and the comic was no longer a priority.

There are moves afoot however to possibly ressurect Jamshed as a group, and try to open it back up to new contributors.  I am taking my 'Minished' comics off in a new direction that probably wont feature on DA, and though I dont like to speak for the others, I'm not aware that Tom, Chaz or anyone else from the original group is planning anything new for here.  If things dont move on shortly though I may remove most of the archive from here- I'm not terribly proud of my earlier comics, and in any case a more serious problem has begun to rise in the last few months, and this is the matter of percieved Art Theft, spotted by well-meaning viewers.

Due to this comic being done in the pre-Group days of deviantart, and us being desperate to publiscise Jamshed, we all tended to post comics twice, once in our personal galleries, and once here, with a link from our personal ones to the example on Jamshed.  This meant duplication that was probably a shade dodgy under DA's rules, and has led to some accusations of Art Theft by people who've spotted the originals in our personal galleries as well as the examples here on Jamshed.  We'd like to appologise for any misunderstandings, and frankly we should have sorted it before now, but the setting up of the Group System here on DA came during the comics dying days, and to be honest nobody had time to sort it out.

So anyway, apologies there has been no new content.  I dont know if any of our original loyal readership as it was still look on here, but if you see this, I'd like to say thanks for your support over the years, and to new people still looking at the comics, well thanks for stopping by and commenting.
